Our Story
Meadow Park Basketball was born from a love of the game and the power of community. For founder Marshall Cho, that love started across the street from his family’s apartment in Springfield, Oregon, at a place called Meadow Park.
On those public courts, Cho discovered more than basketball. Older players welcomed him in, taught him the game, and showed him what it meant to belong. It didn’t matter that he was the youngest on the court—what mattered was effort, respect, and growth.
That formative experience is the foundation of Meadow Park Basketball today. Our program gives kids the same opportunities Cho had: a place to play, have fun, find community, and grow—on and off the court.
